Thank you to everyone who came to see our exhibition homemade instruments and illustrations. It was so much fun, especially the children's workshop where we made instruments and melodies with a lot of little creators. I have never felt more like my hero Bruno Munari! Lullatone Ouchi Orchestra
Since May 2008 Shawn has been appearing on Central Japanese TV every Saturday morning with a special corner on a children's show.
The corner is called Lullatone Ouchi Orchestra, which translates to Lullatone Home Orchestra. The concept is to encourage creativity by showing children ideas of how use things around the house to make music. If you live in Central Japan you can have a look every Saturday on Tokai TV channel 1. The program is called sukusuku pon.

This is our newest CD, LULLATONE presents The Bedtime Beat
"Lullatone are back with their latest Conceptual pop masterpiece. This 10 song mini-album finds the duo not only further perfecting their blend of self proclaimed pajama pop, but also taking it into new uncharted waters, literally. The album opens with the infectious “bathtime beat”, which features a drum solo of tapping water in a bathtub! Other interesting sounds on the record include a bed tapped to sound like a bass drum, snores cut up into hypnotic, breathy drum beats, Yoshimi’s human beatbox, marching in slippers, and a full cast of toy instruments and soft sine tones intricately arranged into dazzling melodies recorded half at home and half in a music room at a Japanese elementary school. This is both Lullatone’s strangest and most pop album yet, and a future classic for sure. So, come on everybody let’s march to sleep with the new sound of the bedtime beat!
