The Japan Falconiformes Center (JFC) was established in 1982 as a natural expansion of The Hawking Club of Japan which has zealously preserved the orthodox tradition-led falconry art of Japan.

1964 Mr. Soichiro Ohara found The Hawking Club of Japan for preservation of Japanese falconry and conservation of birds of prey with falconry skill.
1973 Member organization of The International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (IAF)
1982 The Hawking Club of Japan developed to The Japan Falconiformes Center. Various conservation works were expanded.
2022 Member organization of The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)
